The Sentinel’s Song: A Retelling in the Making…
I don’t know how many of you know this, but Sentinel’s Song is actually a reboot of the second story I published. My original retelling of St. George and the dragon was not part of the Classical Kingdoms Collection World. I actually created it in a fantastical world that was much closer to the true origins of the martyr Saint George. A lot of research went into the story, and while many of the characters share the same names, and Sabra’s personality is as confident as even, it was also much shorter.
Coming in somewhere around 12,000 words, “The Princess and St. George’s Dragon” was published for less than a year. My reviews weren’t stellar, and after rereading it, I decided I could do better and would put it away for later.
The funny thing is that as unprofessional as many aspects of that book were (no editor, no proofreader, etc…), a number of my readers and I were introduced to one another through that book. So I’m grateful for the story, even if I’m glad it’s not for sale anymore.
And now…for the new and improved (much, much, much improved…and much longer) retelling of St. George and the Dragon, here’s The Sentinel’s Song!!!
The Sentinel’s Song: A Retelling of Saint George and the Dragon
Author’s Note: The Sentinel’s Song is part of a series but can be read as a stand-alone. It was previously published as “The Princess and St. George’s Dragon” in novelette form but has been rewritten as a complete novel and set in the Classical Kingdoms Collection World.
Sabra needs an army of warriors.
She’s only found one.
Sabra has spent her entire life studying, practicing, and preparing to become Segzein’s Crown Princess. But just as the crown is within reach, questions about her bloodline give rise to fighting within the kingdom’s clans, and the most indignant of them all gives Sabra and her father an ultimatum: Sabra must step down…or he’ll reduce the kingdom to ashes with the use of ancient forbidden arts.
Sabra wants to fight, but when the dragon brings her kingdom to its knees, she decides there’s only one path she can follow. She must find the Segzein’s eighth clan – the Defenders. Her only problem? They’ve vanished into thin air.
Against her advisers’ will, Sabra goes in search of the missing warriors, determined to stop the dragon without capitulating to his demands. And she finds…one Defender. But only one. Will the missing clan’s survivor be enough to defeat the dragon? Or will Sabra’s future and her kingdom perish?
Buy The Sentinel’s Song today to experience magic, mystery, and clean, passionate romance as you venture with Sabra into her danger, love, and her people’s hidden history.
Now for the party…

Sentinel’s Song Soundtrack
As always, this book was written with the help of a killer soundtrack. I’ve taken many of the songs (there were too many to include them all) and put them in a playlist for you to enjoy as you read the book!

BONUS STORY X2
Whenever we get to 50 reviews on Amazon, we celebrate! Meaning I release a SECOND short story/chapter to go along with Sentinel’s Song. So when you’re done, if you like the story, it would be a HUGE help if you could review the book on Amazon or Goodreads .
I know I’ve said it a million times, but the more reviews a book gets, the more Amazon recommends it to other readers. And the more sales I get from readers, the more books I can afford to produce. Books often cost around $2,000 in production. So if you liked the book, telling others about it is real gift.
Thanks for coming!!!
I hope you had a great time! Your encouragement and enthusiasm for this book has been so sweet, and I’m so grateful that you’re here! Keep coming back for more!
