Hi, everyone! I’m so thrilled to be here for Brittany’s Once Upon 2025!
I’ve loved fantasy since I learned to read, and I was delighted to discover the world of fairy tale retellings, with so many delightful twists and turns to add new flavor to long-beloved stories.
I live in Virginia with my husband and six children. I homeschool during the day and write at night, and I love creating books I can share with my teens.
Along with my fairy tale retellings, I have published eight Jane Austen variations under the pen name Sarah Courtney. I’ve even written a few that incorporate fairy tales into the beloved story of Pride and Prejudice.
I can’t wait to share more stories with all of you, as I am bursting with ideas for new books. Thank you again for joining me, and thanks to Brittany for including me in this fantastic event!

The only solution is to hide Eleri until she comes of age—and what better place to hide than in the palace? But even as their challenging circumstance leads them to see each other in a new light and friendship turns to love, danger looms.
